I have always been fascinated by light and shadows. Over the past few months, I've explored that interest by documenting the shadows around me and transforming them into vibrant, colorful paintings. The earliest works in this Shadow Collection are simple, built from just three or four colors. As the series evolved, the compositions became increasingly layered and complex, with many of the later paintings consisting of hundreds of meticulously placed brushstrokes and multiple layers of color.
Each canvas is wrapped in a single, saturated hue. When hung, the painted edges create a subtle halo effect, softly illuminating the wall behind it.
