MFA Thesis Raffle Ticket
SOLD OUT -- Thank you all so much for helping us meet our fundraising goal!
Welcome to the Thesis Exhibition Raffle Fundraiser for Jonathan Bolton, Glory Day Loflin, and Caroline Myers at Clemson University. We are excited to celebrate the culmination of two years of study by presenting our thesis exhibition and sharing an opening with friends, family, and faculty at Clemson University.
As students, hosting an opening is tough because our finances are tied up in our exhibition, and the fees associated with having a show on Clemson’s campus are steep. Therefore, we have started a fundraiser to help us mitigate the high costs due to strict alcohol regulations at Clemson. We are turning to you to help us raise funds for this special opening that signifies years of artistic growth and development.
Because this is technically a "school event," we are required to use Liquid Catering, a partner of Aramark, for alcohol services. This requirement brings our costs up to over $1300 as the beverages, light snacks, and a school-endorsed bartender. (With a cost of $15.75 per each of the 70 guests, as well as $170 for a single bartender, the cost of the show has a $1300 baseline.)
So, how can you help us? We would greatly appreciate you participating in our Thesis Exhibition Raffle! Each raffle ticket is $25 and enters you to win an original artwork from either Glory Day, Caroline, or Jon (artworks pictured in order, below). We will announce the three winners on March 31st! You can enter as many times as you would like and of course, we would love you to share this with friends who would also like to win an original artwork. If you purchase 8 or more tickets, you will receive a credit of $250 towards an original artwork of $500 value or more from one of the artists. (Please screenshot your receipt and present it at the point of purchase).
Donations that exceed our goal will be used to provide snacks/cutlery/finishing touches for the event.
Thank you so much for helping us meet our goal!
